About the event

Whether you’re completely new to the velodrome or returning after some time away, this session is designed to help you build confidence and develop foundational track skills in a welcoming and supportive environment. Led by accredited AusCycling Track Instructors, you’ll be guided through the basics in a safe and inclusive setting.


This session is open to women, non‑binary and gender diverse riders of all experience levels.


About the Sessions

These sessions provide a supportive pathway to help riders build confidence and skills on the track.

No club membership is required to attend and if you’d like to continue after your first session, you can access a free 4‑week trial membership through AusCycling before deciding whether to join a club. More information on memberships is available via our membership page.


Session Details

  • Location: Brunswick Velodrome

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm

  • Cost: $5.00

  • Session numbers are limited: If this session is full, please reach out at info@brunswickcyclingclub.com and we will try our best to help you


What to Bring

  • Helmet (required, limited spares available to borrow)

  • Closed-toe shoes or cycling shoes & pedals (if you have them)

  • Comfortable riding clothing, avoid loose or baggy items

  • Your own track bike (optional)


    Club track bikes are available to borrow. When booking, please let us know if you would like to borrow one and let us know your height so we can fit you correctly.
